I don’t have to prove anything to God: I don’t have to prove I’m a good person or a valuable person or a loveable person or a holy person. I don’t have to prove I deserve God’s blessings or His love or that I am His child; but obviously, I keep demanding that I prove it to myself…………..
WHEN I HAD THIS THOUGHT, a picture, a sort of vision, popped up in my mind’s eye of a little child holding his father’s hand as they walk along the path of life. The child is looking up at the father asking: daddy, am I a good person, am I a lovable person? Daddy, am I a Holy person, do you love me, Daddy?
