THAT’S LIFE, DEAL WITH IT

This morning when I walked out my back door I felt the sweet crisp air and my usual surge of gratitude as my brain translated my feelings into one of my favorite words: Aliveness. The taste of the fall air on my tongue and the timeless sweet light glistening off the miraculous trees, plants, and grasses make my morning coffee taste so much better than it does just sitting inside the house. Life can be very rough, but also inexpressibly wonderful. When I stand erect, responsible, equal to and grateful for the life I’ve been given, I’m flooded with the truth of joy and aliveness.
