THE BOOGEYMAN

What would humans do without the Boogeyman; there would be no life as we know it? Without him there would be no music, no plays, no literature, movies, parties, picnics, dances no art or sports of any kind; nothing to lift or thrill the human spirit. We’ve needed the Boogeyman from the beginning and will forever.

We first encountered him as children when he lurked under the bed, in the closet or at the window. Yes, you’ve guessed it; the Boogeyman is probably our very first great creation as children, our first elaborate use of our imagination. Imagination for human culture is as important as every breath we take; nothing, absolutely nothing new, edifying or evolving would happen in the human world without it; in fact, there would be no human culture without it. Boo!
