THE AWESOME ALIVENESS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

I am not awed by mountains, the moon, stars or oceans anymore; I’m awed by the trees and plants in my yard and the hawks and songbirds that visit me here; I’m awed by the fact that three hundred and thirty million people are living in, here-to-fore, unknown freedom in America, but most of all I’m awed by the sweet, tangible aliveness of my consciousness which sings all day of the presence of God. I live move and have my being in Thee, Almighty God.
