THE CONFLICTS OF MANKIND
Every time I attend or just see a funeral service it brings up strong, conflicting, and unresolved feelings in me. Today after watching a very moving service on television I sat pondering the conflicts in me and a vision rose up in my mind of an Apache warrior on the great western planes of America, sitting astride his horse with a spear raised above his head and war paint on his face while juxtaposed to him was a high priest of the universal church fully attired in all his robes, his Aaron’s breastplate, and golden amulets. The question attending the vision was —- Who knows, serves, and understands God more clearly?
