My God, I have struggled mightily in my life, in my mind, and in my soul with desire, fear, anger, evil thoughts, impulsiveness, guilt, and shame; why would I expect anything different or less to be occurring in the minds, and souls of my fellow beings or my nation. God have mercy and help us to be wise.
