CHILD OF GOD’S UNIVERSE

O’ man, laughing, scorning, strutting child of the universe; master of every river, every mountain, and ocean whose reach has touched the stars but yet owns not one drop of water, one grain of sand, one gentle lapping wave, or one tiny sparkle from any star; despair not when your ignorance is, in the end, revealed to you, despair not when your icons lay in shambles at your feet; God has given you foolishness, arrogance, vanity, self-aggrandizement and pride to teach you His divine love and joy.
