SOUL WINGS
I was talking with a young man about life and the afterlife and he said, “If I’m already one with God, why do I have to go through all these years of trials and transformation to realize my heavenly reward?”
I offered him this explanation: I said, “It’s like the caterpillar whose destiny is to become a butterfly; no amount of explanation can help him accomplish or just skip over what he will go through in the cocoon. He must live through the cocoon experience to become a butterfly just as we must strive through, cry through, laugh through and finally die to our human experience to become a matured soul.”
