Sitting on my back porch this morning I had an interesting, somewhat complicated yet simple thought: I realized that our brain runs through the same movements as the physical world we live in; we are running in unison with the movements of the physical universe.

The earth turns in a circle on its axis as it moves forward in a circle around the sun, and the sun and our family of planets turns in a circle around the center of our galaxy (the Milky Way), and our galaxy along with all the other galaxies, with nothing to circle, are dashing off into what may be (science is not sure) oblivion at a speed of 2.2 million kilometers per hour.

Now, consider our brain, circling through the minutes of the clock all day and night and through the weeks and months and years and decades and centuries and millenniums and off into infinity and parts unknown. So, by the deductions of our BEST SCIENCE the universe doesn’t know where it’s going, so neither do we if we’re depending on science.

It’s no wonder that so many humans can’t figure out where they are or where they’re going because our senses tell us we’re going nowhere except in circles and then off a blind cliff into the undertaker’s parlor, not a pleasant thought………… I believe that most people, except those with an organic mental disorder, can learn to stop all movement and thought, bring their minds to a quiet, still place for just ten or fifteen minutes two or three times a day and find an amazing truth, healing, and peace right in the quietness of their own being. It worked for me, although I had to have counseling also.

If you don’t know what I mean by stopping movement and thought, message me in the space provided beneath this post and I’ll explain. Really, all you need to do is get a good book on meditation and give yourself months not days or hours to make good progress, believe me you’ll be glad you did.
